Here is a high-res shot capturing the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche at the Breitscheidplatz, the Upper West skyscraper and Waldorf Astoria luxury hotel at Berlin Zoo. In the front, the long 4-story building is known as Bikini. The area is also known as the center of Berlin City West where the famous shopping street Ku‘damm (short for Kurfürstendamm) and Tauentzienstraße meet. And yes, there is a zoo that starts on the right edge of the photo.
Behind the church you can see a new project, called Fürst, started by a now-bankrupt company. I wonder if it will ever be finished.
And here is a close-up of the Waldorf Astoria hotel.
